Repair
We undertake specialist CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) repairs in accordance with recognised industry standards and best practice guidance. Following detailed inspection and assessment, we specify and implement appropriate remedial works to address moisture ingress, decay, and associated structural defects, ensuring the reinstatement of structural integrity and long-term durability.
Mayfield school – Dagenham
Decay within the CLT floor structure was carefully identified and removed back to sound timber. The affected areas were then reinstated progressively, rebuilding the section layer by layer using graded Scandinavian whitewood to match the original structural build-up. Rotafix-supplied structural resin systems were incorporated to provide composite strength and continuity between existing and new materials.
All works were undertaken in accordance with a specification prepared under the guidance of a structural engineer, ensuring the full restoration of the floor’s structural performance and long-term durability.

CLT – Wall Repair
Decay to the CLT wall assembly above the concrete plinth was carefully opened up and removed in full back to sound timber. The affected laminated sections were dismantled in sequence and rebuilt progressively to replicate the original structural configuration. Replacement sections were installed using graded Scandinavian whitewood, ensuring compatibility with the existing structure. Structural resin systems were incorporated where required to achieve composite action and continuity between retained and new elements. All remedial works were carried out in accordance with a structural engineer’s specification, reinstating the wall’s structural integrity and long-term performance.
